I like to think of the beginning of a New Year as a “blank slate” where I can be free to create a fresh life of Joy, Fulfillment and Inner Peace.

How that looks can be different for everyone, but how it does NOT look like is “New Year’s Resolutions.”  Typically, making Resolutions are usually a set-up to fail or feel bad about ourselves.  Especially as the focus of Resolutions are on the things we don’t like about ourselves or our life.

How can we feel Joyful and have Inner Peace, when we are focused on what we have not done well, or have not succeeded at so far?

The secret is to clear any “baggage” that has been in the way of our happiness first! THEN there is room and energy for what fulfills us.
